October 14 @ 4:00 pmFree
Join us on YouTube October 14, at 4pm for a conversation with Amy J. Hammer and Michelle Lassaline, the author and illustrator of How to Grow A Baby: A Science-based Guide to Nurturing New Life from Pregnancy to Childbirth and Beyond.
Packed with practical information and helpful infographics, Amy J. Hammer helps you create the optimal environment for growing a baby and navigating the major transitions in a pregnancy–including nurturing pelvic floor health, the fetal and parental microbiome, and the science behind the stages of pregnancy from conception to postpartum.
By providing vital and often ignored information about reproductive science, movement, and nourishment, this book empowers parents to make informed and personal choices about their pregnancy, birth, and beyond.
Amy J. Hammer is a writer, mama, and RN (soon-to-be-nurse-practitioner). She writes about nourishing food, movement, ecology, and how our relationships to each other and our surroundings shape our health.
Michelle Lassaline is an interdisciplinary artist hailing from the high desert of northern Nevada. She holds a BFA from the University of Nevada, Reno. She has been awarded grants from the City of Seattle, the Nevada Arts Council, and the Sierra Arts Foundation, and has exhibited and performed her work at the Nevada Museum of Art.
